Total cross section for chloroflouromethanes and CClx radicals by electron impact

► A model to find total CS for freons and CClx by e− impact is employed. ► Complex optical potential formalism is used to find total inelastic and elastic CS. ► Result shows very good agreement with previous data wherever available. ► Maiden attempt to find cross section for the CClx radicals.
