Excited-state absorption in light-scattering, ceramic erbium-doped langatate

A method for the measurement and calibration of the excited-state absorption spectra in light-scattering media is developed. The method is applied for the recording and calibration of the excited-state absorption spectra of an erbium-doped langatate ceramic sample in the visible range.
