A well known fluorophore, 1,8-Naphthalimide group connected separately to bazamide derivatives bearing pyridyl groups have been synthesized and characterized fully by physico chemical techniques and X-ray crystallographyThey form nano-aggregates and induced the enhancement in their emissions. The mechanochromic properties along with the luminescence of such compounds have gained momentum owing to their application in mechanosensor, data storage and optoelectronic devices.270
