Experimental and theoretical spectroscopic study of erbium doped aluminosilicate glasses

The radiative transition probabilities A, radiative lifetimes τrad and fluorescence branching ratios β were calculated. The calcium aluminosilicate glass shows the highest Er3+ absorption cross sections.
