Single-crystalline spherical β-Ga2O3 particles: Synthesis, N-doping and photoluminescence properties

► We prepared single-crystalline spherical β-Ga2O3 particles in ambient atmosphere. ► The particles display uniform spherical morphology with an average diameter of ∼200 nm. ► The Ga2O3 particles exhibit a broad blue-green light and an interesting red light emission. ► The red light emission can be further tuned by post-annealing of the particles.
