Themoluminescence properties of nanocrystalline of BaSO4:Dy,Tb irradiated with gamma rays

► Nanocrystalline of BaSO4 and BaSO4:Dy,Tb is prepared by the co-precipitation method. ► Thermoluminescence characteristics nanocrystalline of BaSO4 and BaSO4:Dy,Tb are studied. ► Results show that BaSO4:Dy,Tb is more useful for estimating low and high dose of gamma rays.
