Low-temperature thermoluminescence in TlGaS2 layered single crystals

► Thermoluminescence measurements have been carried out on TlGaS2 crystals. ► Five defect centers located at 13, 27, 87, 94 and 291 meV have been found. ► Capture cross-sections and attempt-to-escape frequencies of traps were calculated.
