Thermoluminescence characteristics of the main glow peak in α-Al2O3:C exposed to low environmental-like radiation doses

► Thermoluminescence characteristics of α-Al2O3:C at low environmental-like doses are presented. ► The dosimetric peak of α-Al2O3:C appeared to be less complex at the low dose range considered. ► The study showed that the activation energy of thermal quenching may be affected by dose.
