Photoluminescence and magnetic circular dichroism of IrQ(ppy)2-5Cl

► Mixed-ligand of IrQ(ppy)2-5Cl synthesis with green and red phosphorescence. ► Photoluminescence and magnetic circular dichroism measurements from 15 to 295 K. ► Experimental results have been compared with DFT theoretical calculations. ► Triplet state which arises from d to πQ transition was experimentally confirmed. ► Green and red phosphorescence have the same temperature dependence.
