Co-precipitation synthesis and photoluminescence properties of Ba1−xMoO4:xEu3+ red phosphors

► Ba1−xEuxMoO4 red phosphors are synthesized by the co-precipitation method. ► The obtained powders are identified by X-ray diffraction and photoluminescence spectroscopies. ► Spectroscopic study of Eu3+ ions was made at room temperature and discussed the optimal doping concentration. ► These are new and interesting and were not reported in the previous papers.
