Structural and photoluminescence properties of Dy3+ doped different modifier oxide-based lithium borate glasses

► Dy3+ doped lithium fluoro-borate glasses were synthesized by melt quenching method. ► Judd-Ofelt parameters Ωλ (λ=2, 4 and 6) are reported for all the studied glass matrices. ► Radiative parameters of Dy3+ in different glass matrices are studied and reported. ► The nature of decay profiles of 4F9/2 state of Dy3+ in all the glass matrices has been analyzed.
