Coherence of an electron spin in quantum dots generated by a resonant optical pulse with elliptic polarization

► The spin polarization of electrons in InP quantum dots has been studied experimentally. ► The direction and lifetime of the polarized spin depend on the optical pulse intensity. ► It is discussed by the density-matrix calculation in the electron-trion four-level system.
