Effect of Eu3+ concentration on microstructure and photoluminescence of Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ phosphors prepared by microwave assisted sintering

► Microwave sintered Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ phosphors have uniform particle size. ► Particle size of phosphor powder decrease when the doped concentration of Eu3+ ion increase. ► Maximum photoluminescence intensity was appeared when the molar concentration of Eu3+ is 0.1. ► Concentration quenching effect was observed under microwave sintering conditions.
