⺠Segregation of Pr3+ ions in Y2SiO5:Pr3+ nanocrystals was observed. ⺠Segregation of doped ions strongly modifies the luminescence properties of nanocrystal. ⺠Formation of Pr3+ pairs near nanocrystal surface was controlled by the temperature.
