Mixed-ligand Al complex-a new approach for more high efficient OLEDs

► A novel electroluminescent Alq2Acac complex is presented as material for OLED. ► Electroluminescent emission of Alq2Acac is very similar to that of commercial Alq3. ► Devices with Alq2Acac show better characteristics compared to those with Alq3.
