Fluorescent properties of novel dendrimer dyes based on thiazole orange

► A kind of dendrimer probe based on TO was designed and synthesized. ► Dendrimers showed an obvious fluorescence enhancement compared to free dye. ► Dendrimers labeled with BSA also showed fluorescence enhancement. ► Dendrimers may be used in diagnosis and detection of early-stage tumors.
