Synthesis, optical, structural and thermal characterization of Mn2+ doped ZnS nanoparticles using reverse micelle method

► At the low water to surfactant ratio (W), very small grain size was obtained. ► At W=10, the obtained particles were highly homogenous. ► Enhanced PL emission was obtained using AOT as a surfactant. ► ZnO nanoparticles were obtained from ZnS:Mn2+ by heat treatment.
