Synthesis and characterization of thermoluminescent Li2B4O7 nanophosphor

► Current paper deals with the synthesis of nanocrystalline Li2B4O7 using the combustion method. ► Its TL properties are compared to that of commercially available microcrystalline Li2B4O7. ► The effect of Cu doping on TL properties of Li2B4O7 nanophosphor is also discussed.
