Eu3+ activated M6AlP5O20 (M=Sr/Ba/Mg) novel red phosphors

► Novel M6AlP5O2yt70:Eu3+ (M=Sr/Ba/Mg) phosphors were prepared by combustion method. ► Excitation of the phosphors are at 350 nm, which is characteristics of nUV excited LED. ► PL of Eu3+ ion were observed in phosphors at 592 (orange) and 618 nm (red) region.
