Non-radiative exciton recombination through excitation energy transfer in quantum dot clusters

►Excitation energy transfer processes in CdSe/CdZnS quantum dot clusters. ►We evaluate radiative and non-radiative recombination through energy transfer. ►Fluorescence decay in an acceptor does not show an initial rise. ►The lifetime of the acceptor is independent of the excitation wavelength. ►EET is followed mostly by non-radiative recombination.
