High surface area nanostructured activated carbons derived from sustainable sorghum stalk

Sorghum was used for the first time as sustainable source to fabricate nanostructured carbon (ACZ) with high surface area and tunable supermicro/meso porosity. The ACZ showed high adsorption capacity of methylene blue as high as 386 mg/g which make it promising materials for application in many adsorption and purification processes.283
