Solvent mediated photo-induced morphological transformation of AgNPs-peptide hybrids in water-EtOH binary solvent mixture

The biotinylated peptide in polar environment of mixed solvent system leads remarkable modification in pathways to modify AgNPs-Peptide morphology, which could help to explain the greener solvent guided changes in synthesis of AgNPs-peptide hybrids and can be used for several biotechnological applications. Further it can also be used to detect Ag+ ion affected proteins/biomolecules and potentially works as a silver ion sensor up to ∼ 50 μM.249
