This article investigates the unsteady two-dimensional squeezing flow of Jeffrey fluid in a rotating frame. The lower plate of channel is stretched in its own plane while the upper plate squeezed towards the lower plate. Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model is imposed to investigate the characteristics of heat transfer. This model is the modification of classical Fourier's law through thermal relaxation time. Transformation procedure is adopted to obtain the non-linear ordinary differential equations from the fundamental laws of mass, linear momentum and energy. Convergent series solutions are constructed for the resulting problems. Characteristics of various involved parameters on the velocity, temperature and skin friction coefficient are analyzed. It is found that the temperature of fluid decreases for higher thermal relaxation time parameter.
