The role of ion-water interactions in the solubility of ionic solutions

► Simulations of NaCl and NaI solutions are carried out to analyze the solubility of monovalent salts. ► A cluster size distribution is performed to quantify the size of the largest cluster and the number of free ions. ► The precipitation of ions in water is obtained after including a screening parameter.
