Effect of softness on relative adsorption for binary mixtures of simple fluids

► The physical adsorption is analyzed by means of molecular simulations in a canonical ensemble at relative low temperatures. ► In the present work the softness effect on some interfacial properties for binary mixtures of simple fluids is analyzed. ► We found that the vapor pressure is higher for harder particles and a lower surface tension is obtained. ► As a direct consequence the relative adsorption is increased.
