Electrocatalytic oxidation of dopamine at murexide and TX-100 modified carbon paste electrode: A cyclic voltammetric study

► Murexide modified carbon paste electrode exhibits increased redox peak currents. ► TX-100/Mu-MCPE exhibits further enhancement in redox peak currents for dopamine. ► It shows high sensitivity, low cost and easy preparation of modified electrode. ► The TX-100/Mu-MCPE acts as electrochemical sensor for the analysis of dopamine.
