Morphology tunable organogels based on dihydrazide derivatives

► We aimed at developing novel gelators of dihydrazide derivatives. ► The morphologies of the organogels are tunable by the polarity of the gelling solvent. ► The amide protons participated in intermolecular double hydrogen bonds in organogels. ► The intermolecular hydrogen bonding was the main driving forces for the self-assembly.
