Synthesis and characterization of the iron-containing magnetic ionic liquids

► Two magnetic ionic liquids were first characterized with the same paramagnetism. ► Their magnetic susceptibilities are close to the imidazolyl magnetic ionic liquids. ► Their magnetic properties are tested in the 10,000 Oe magnetic field from 5 K to 300 k. ► This study provides references for synthesizing stronger magnetic ionic liquids.
