Influence of polymer architecture on the averaging effects in PGSE NMR attenuations for bimodal solutions of linear and star poly(vinyl acetates)

► The diffusive averaging effects in linear and star PVAc solutions were studied. ► Two limiting case simulations of the PGSE NMR attenuations were used. ► Diffusive averaging effects were found to be independent of the polymer architecture. ► Results for linear PMMA and both PVAc showed the averaging effect was dependent on polymer type.
