An analysis of voids and necks in supercritical water

► Voids in supercritical water are investigated through Voronoi polyhedra (VP) construction. ► Configurations are generated by molecular dynamics using the SPC/E model of water. ► Changes in the VP and void distributions are rather small at fixed density but varying temperature. ► Distributions of topological properties get broadened with decreasing density at a fixed temperature. ► Average values of various metric properties are primarily determined by the density of the systems.
