Effect of glycyl dipeptides on the micellar behavior of gemini surfactant: A conductometric and fluorescence spectroscopic study

► The addition of glycyl dipeptides decreases the cmc values of 12-5-12. ► Thermodynamic parameters of micellization in dipeptide solutions were obtained. ► Enthalpy-entropy compensation takes place during micellization. ► Micelle aggregation number was decreased by addition of glycyl dipeptides. ► Glycyl dipeptides make the microenvironment of 12-5-12 more hydrophobic.
