We have tested three parameter corresponding states principle which relies on the properties of two non-spherical reference fluids for the viscosity of pure liquids and liquid mixtures. This method has been tested on twenty-four binary liquid mixtures using the pure components in each case as reference fluid. A good agreement between experimental and the predicted values of viscosities for binary liquid mixtures was obtained using only the data for the pure components. The agreement is even better if a single binary interaction constant, independent of temperature and composition, is used in the calculations of mixtures. The results are discussed in terms of absolute average deviation (AAD). It is also shown how the unknown viscosities of any given fluid can be obtained from the known properties of two (similar) reference fluids.
