The ν3 + ν5 combination band of DCF3: Modeling anharmonic and Coriolis interactions in a three-level system near 1700 cm−1

► First modeling of the ν3 + ν5/ν3 + 2ν6/ν4 + ν6 polyad of DCF3, near 1700 cm−1. ► Fermi and Coriolis interactions extrapolated from the ν5/2ν6 and ν3 + ν6/ν4 systems. ► A quantitative reproduction of the available experimental data has been achieved.
