High resolution infrared spectroscopy of H12C13CD and H13C12CD: The bending states up to v4Â +Â v5Â =Â 2

► FTIR spectrum of H12C13CD and H13C12CD, was recorded, range 450-1850 cm−1. ► Bending fundamentals, overtones, combination and hot bands were identified. ► Bands involving all l-vibrational components up to vt = v4 + v5 = 2 were analyzed. ► The ground and 9 excited states have been characterized for each isotopomer. ► Accurate spectroscopic parameters have been obtained.
