Microwave spectrum and molecular structure of the 1-chloro-1-fluoroethylene-hydrogen fluoride complex

► Rotational spectra analyzed for six isotopomers of 1-chloro-1-fluoroethylene-hydrogen fluoride. ► Planar structure with hydrogen bond bent to establish secondary interaction. ► Complete 35Cl and 37Cl and diagonal elements of D nuclear quadrupole coupling tensors determined. ► Diagonal elements of HF nuclear spin-spin interaction tensor determined. ► Comparisons with analogous complexes shows similar effect of fluorine versus chlorine substitution.
