High resolution infrared study of SbHD2: The ground state and the Sb-H stretching bands ν1 and 2ν1

► High resolution infrared spectra of SbHD2 in the region of ν1, Sb-H stretching fundamental. ► The 2ν1 overtone of 123SbHD2, has been investigated. ► The molecular parameters for the ground and v1=1 states of the two isotopologues agree well. ► Relations in the expanded local mode theory, for XH3 → XH2D/XHD2 isotopic substitution, are compared with experiments.
