Association between markers of arterial stiffness and atrial fibrillation in the Circulatory Risk in Communities Study (CIRCS)

AI values, but not brachial or central pulse pressures, were positively associated with the prevalence of atrial fibrillation and total arrhythmia, independent of cardiovascular risk factors.
