Dual inhibitor of PDE7 and GSK-3 - VP1.15 acts as antipsychotic and cognitive enhancer in C57BL/6J mice

► PDE7 and GSK-3 inhibitor facilitated cognition and expressed antipsychotic effects. ► VP1.15 reversed amphetamine- but not MK-801-induced sensorimotor deficit in mice. ► Multi-target drugs from the DISC1 pathway open a new avenue in drug discovery.
