Changes in antibody specificities and cytokine release after infection with lactate dehydrogenase-elevating virus

► LDV infection affected antibody specificity in CBA/Ht mice and not in BALB/c or C57BL/6 animals. ► Changes in antibody specificity were associated to cytokine release. ► INFγ, IL-13 and IL-17 were shown on infected CBA/Ht immunized with OVA but not hGH.
