Sauchinone suppresses lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammatory responses through Akt signaling in BV2 cells

► Sauchinone suppressed LPS-induced inflammatory responses in BV2 cells. ► Sauchinone inhibited the NF-kB activation induced by LPS treatment in BV2 cells. ► Sauchinone did block the Akt phosphorylation but not MAPK activation in BV2 cells treated with LPS. ► The inhibitory effect of sauchinone on LPS-induced inflammatory responses is mediated through Akt and NF-kB signaling pathway.
