Risk assessment scenarios of children's exposure to aflatoxin M1 residues in different milk types from the Greek market

► Aflatoxin M1 was detected in 46% of milk samples but in levels that did not exceed EU MRLs. ► Aflatoxin M1 levels in organic and conventional milk samples did not present significant statistical differences. ► According to risk assessment scenarios for Aflatoxin M1 the highest Hazard Index values are for the ages of 1-3 years.
