Curcumin reduces cisplatin-induced neurotoxicity in NGF-differentiated PC12 cells

► Curcumin reduced cisplatin-induced neurite toxicity in a PC12 cell model by up to 50%. ► Curcumin's neuroprotective effects did not involve suppression of p53 mRNA transcription. ► Curcumin did not reduce the cytotoxicity of cisplatin in HepG2 cells.
