Genotoxicity of the copper antineoplastic coordination complexes casiopeinas®

► Four different casiopeinas were studied to determinate if they are actual genotoxins. ► The main mechanism of action of these compounds seems to be through ROS generation. ► The results suggest that casiopeinas produce DNA damage and trigger apoptosis.
