Localized deferoxamine injection augments vascularity and improves bony union in pathologic fracture healing after radiotherapy

► We examine a murine model of radiation impaired pathologic fracture healing. ► We report diminished metrics of vascularity in vitro and in vivo. ► We demonstrate remediation in these metrics with angiogenic deferoxamine therapy.
