Adsorption of p-nitrophenol from aqueous solutions using nanographite oxide

- Nanographite oxide (NGO) was prepared and used as adsorbent to treat p-nitrophenol.
- NGO possessed good adsorption ability to p-nitrophenol with rapid reaction time.
- The adsorption of p-nitrophenol onto NGO was physisorption and exothermic.
