Inorganic salt-tuned multiple self-assemblies of supramolecular β-cyclodextrin gel

- Simple supramolecular gel based on native β-cyclodextrin is sensitive to alkali salts.
- The gel has phase transitions (gel-sol, gel-gel, gel-crystal) tuned by the concentrations or types of salts.
- Alkali salts, especially NaOH and Na2CO3, have a selectively effect on the gel which exhibited noteworthy structures.
