Gel-sol-gel′ evolution triggered by formic acid

The gel-sol-gel′ evolution induced by formic acid was confirmed. There were differences of the building blocks in the two gel networks β-CD as gelator. The concentrations of β-CD, and variety of solvents and salts, and other conditions were explored for extension of the gel-sol-gel′ evolution.
