Real-time visualization of colorimetric probe for pH-sensitive based on poly-(γ-glutamic acid)-functionalized gold nanoparticles

- We have demonstrated a colorimetric probe for pH-sensitive based on PGA-AuNPs system.
- The assays could be achieved with the naked eye.
- The colorimetric probe showed a sensitive response to pH variation between 1 and 9.
- The aggregation of AuNPs corresponded to the secondary structure of PGA.
