Micellization and interfacial behavior of 16-E2-16 in presence of inorganic and organic salt counterions

- Interfacial behavior of ester bonded gemini surfactants on adding salts is studied.
- CMC decreases with increasing concentration of salts.
- Decrease is more in presence of organic salts.
- Synergism was found in the mixed micelles of gemini-hydrotropes in all combinations.
