Hydrophilic gold nanoparticles stabilized with tris(2-aminoethyl)amine: Preparation and characterization

- The synthesis of Au NPs stabilized with of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine is presented.
- Final product is powder of Au NPs with protective shells.
- Shells compose of the adducts of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine, acetone and boric acid.
- The composition of powder is Au{N(CH2CH2NH2)3}36{OC(CH3)2}36{H3BO3}32{NaBO2}4{NaCl}4.
- Powder of Au NPs is hydrophilic and redisperse in water and polar solvents.
